Vic EffectListening to the audio interviews on ponystampede.com with Willis, Sanders, etc. it is amazing how they all hype up the strength/conditioning program and the excitement around the program and Dallas. Is the excitement in the S&C a byproduct of the JJ excitement, or is he really just that good?

Vic was in a couple of classes with me back in 2003. I remember talking to him and he was 100% positive about everything SMU football. He was sure that under Bennett we were going to improve from the mess than Cavan after we got through the growing pains. I could tell from the little before/after class short conversations that the guy was a natural leader, even if his predictions were a little...well, completely wrong.
I don't know much about strength training, but I'm sure there's no better motivator out there than him to get guys into the gym and in shape for gameday. With his attitude, love for SMU, and time at LSU as an assistant I have no doubt we are lucky to have Vic on the staff. I'm sure the team feels the same.
I heard a rumor that when he was a teenager, he once impregnated every nun in a convent tucked away in the Himalaya mountains. 9 months later, the nuns all gave birth to the 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only undefeated and untied team in NFL history. "I love coaching here at SMU University" -June Jones
