I might have missed the conversation on Derek, but noticed that he was not on the roster. Did he transfer or flunk out?

It wasn't injury or a run in with the law, but, it was decided the team would be better off without him

Lily's injury is a real shame, and it's exactly why teams collect more and more and more linemen - right, BUS?

Exactly, and a factor to be remembered for those who are concerned about the current recruit list being too heavy in that department.

Just curious: is Derek Lilly any relation to former Dallas Cowboy Bob Lilly?

I thought it was a different spelling: LILY for our guy, LILLY for the former Cowboy. Or am I wrong?

Bob Lilly would be my nominee for most likeable Frog. How ironic is it that two of the more notable Cowboy icons from their early years were a Frog and a Pony (Dandy Don). I wonder if back then Galloway said "what kind of Frog and Pony show are they running over there in Dallas anyway?"

Since the 'subject line' for this thread spelled it 'Lilly' I assumed it was the same.

MM65 is right - it's LILLY.

Thanks, WH. Back to my original question: is our Lilly any relation to Cowboys great Bob Lilly?
