I have to say that I am shocked that we would change ticket systems at this time. Right when Fall practice starts and the excitement begins to grow. They just put up billboards all over 75. And the front page of SMUMustangs.com says "Click here to buy your Season Tickets", sales are up, JJ is online asking people to buy.

and they can't.

Ridiculous.

I bought all my away game tickets today over the phone with a credit card. The invoice was emailed to me.

for those that have already "bought" tickets, have your credit cards been charged yet? i checked my statement today but it hasn't been charged yet.

I don't know about you guys, but I think I'll wait until the 8th to give them any kind of credit card number. I'm not a big fan of having numbers like that just floating around.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

I am sure the ticket office personnel wishes everything was in working order to accomodate every interested person. The inconvenience is temporary. The staff understand the importance of first class customer service and they are bustin' their butts to fill requests. I admire their hustle.

In my experiences with the ticket office, it's been night and day to how they have responded and communicated and treated me. Far better than in previous years. You can tell there is a shift to better customer service and better effieciency.

Still down. I'm sorry but I find this inexcusable.

Welcome to the S.M.U.

We're sorry, the system is currently down for maintenance.
Please call 214.SMU.GAME to purchase tickets. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The guy I spoke to yesterday was very pleasant, just took my order/credit card#, and he didn't make it an issue at all. Said I'll get my tix in the mail later this month. I have no complaints.
