This year's top coaches in the non-BCS

Postby HB Pony Dad » Wed Aug 06, 2008 11:50 am

"I was charged with finding this year's top 10 non-BCS coaches and it was one of the toughest tasks I've faced this season. With 54 schools in the non-BCS and Independents, there were a lot of good candidates from which to choose. There is no doubt I left someone off (I hear you Notre Dame fans), but I think these are the 10 best coaches heading into this season's non-BCS schedule.

5. June Jones, SMU -- Jones was instrumental in the greatest single-season turnaround in NCAA history when he turned an 0-12 Hawaii team in 1998 into a 9-4 team with a win over Oregon State in the Oahu Bowl. There's no telling what Jones could do in a weaker C-USA."

Awesome that they list Coach Jones ahead of Coach Patterson (should be further ahead), and I'm OK with Boise State's Peterson and maybe BYU's Mendenhall being ahead of him. But no way Rocky Long (UNM) and DEFINITELY not Howard Schnellenberger should be ahead of Coach Jones.

So we are arguing if cat poop or dog poop is better. Outstanding point.

Talk to the article writer. Its his point. I just think its funny. Besides, if you want to say you play in a [deleted] league, don't expect me to argue.

Personally I favor wederobe (badger poop)
or perhaps spraints (otter poop)
then again waggying (fox poop) has a certain allure,
but you can never count out fumets (deer poop).
All trumped by horned frog poop of course

No, it should be obvious to everyone not currently in a coma that both teams are in class A poop leagues. What kind of poop you want to assign to either league is completely up to you.

The WAV, CUSA and MWC all all poop leagues - lets face it. Froggies being all fired up and excited about the MWC fills me with amusement.

And dont forget guano (bat poop)

Guano is bird poop in general mix a little charcoal and sulfa with it for a gun powder good enough to shoot a horn frog in the [deleted] with. :)

Guano is also where the DNA base Guanine was first identified.
