CBS College Sports

I know this has been mentioned, but those who use Time Warner Cable might think of calling to request CBS College Sports, who will broadcast 5 SMU games this year. Time Warner does not currently offer the channel, but it may be worth our time to request the channel be added to the lineup. Hopefully with enough requests it might get consideration.

Does anyone know if TX21 will broadcast any games like they did last year? That would be great if they did.

In NY, Time Warner does not carry it, but they offer it for something ridiculous like $1.99/month extra. Along with the 3 Fox College Sports channels. Not a bad deal!

Oddly enough, Time Warner DOES offer it here in San Antonio. I've had CSTV/CBSCS for 2 years now solely so I can watch the occasional SMU football or basketball game.

Thanks for the info, knowing that it's offered by the same company in a different city IN TEXAS really irritates me.

Just make sure you actually call them. It was not in any of the TW literature up here. I had to call twice to inquire. The first time I called, the person said he had never heard of CSTV. For the hell of it, I called back and spoke to somebody different, who told me about the 2 bucks a month deal. Anyway, just call and speak to people about it before you give up

I was brushed off by Turner in Dallas last year on this very subject. So I switched to Direct. For overall sports programing, this was the best decision I ever made.
