We traveled to Kyle in '89 and '91 while I was there. Best free bbq I've ever had pregame and the fans (although cultish to the Core) stayed for halftime and clapped. No sabres drawn on cheerleaders.

They were also invited to play in either '87 or '88 when we were on probation.

When I was at SMU I used to attend both the womens and mens soccer games. Made for a great evening of sport.

Yes, I am sure you preferred that over football at homecoming.
