We are working on getting a bunch of people together to watch the Rice game at bar. How many of you in NY would be interested? It could be tough to find a place that will turn the sound on given its Friday so let me know if you have any ideas for a good venue. We were thinking about the back room at the Pour House at 3rd and 11th.

I'm in. I live next to the Pour House and I'll talk to them to see if they can set up the sound for the back room that night. Don't think it will be an issue.

I would definitely be in, however I will be in Va. visiting my parents that wknd, watching the game with them. And you're right, it'll be [deleted] a Friday to get sound. Back room at the Pour House sounds as good a bet as any. I like that place

I would come over from Jersey but my Daughter is a freshman in the Mustang band and I must record the half time performance for future generations of bubba ponys to witness this historical event.

Can I fly up to NYC to be a part of the festivities? Anything's better than Houston.
[Sigh] I'll likely be in Houston. Really, though, as I have aged, I've come to realize that Houston isn't that bad. I'd much rather live there than Denton or Waco. Not that I'll live in any of the three, but I've sure had better times in sweat-town, err, H-town (better than the other two towns, I mean).

Make sure the Pour House extends the same deal that UGA gets...
$35 all you can drink for the duration of the game...
Just another great perk of June's Run & Shoot - longer game equals better value at the NYC watching party.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

WOW, thats not a bad deal, especially if you drink a lot. and if the game goes into 6 OTs, just think of the possibilities.

I would prefer that SMU not have any more OT games during the JJ era. God knows we had enough of those during the PB era and it caused me to drink because the Mustangs would come up short.
