1. JJ has some big ______s
2. Sends a message to the rest of the team that the best players will play
3. JW has really matured. Most guys would have been on the first train out of town. It says a lot about how much he has grown in the last 3 years (and yes I realize he may still transfer.
4. I realize there will be some growing pains with a true freshmen QB, but I have complete faith that JJ is putting the best 11 guys on the field. The Circle of Champions is paying him way too much too "rebuild" (and JJ doesnt seem like a guy who would tank a season just to get his QB some experience).
5. I can't for the season to start. We will beat Rice.
6. What did Justin do to [deleted] off Oscar?

I admire and appreciate your attitude about this knowing from reading your posts that you are a big fan of both Phil and JW.

I saw that and chills just ran up my back. Those things freaked me out when we went there for the WAC Tourney back in 2001.

We won't beat Rice if Bo Levi can't master the short pass. I watched him practice today for a while and he hit some stunning long balls but would miss by a country mile on short routes. He looks pretty composed though, and I think he will get it in the next 8 days.
8 days.
8 days.

First, let me echo the THANK YOU for changing the picture. And I hope everyone understands. JW has been our guy for two years, and I can't say he ever gave up. As much as it hurt to watch us lose the way we did last year, I think JW is the reason our players kept fighting every game until it was over. I like that we continue to hear good things about his attitude and, while i think JJ is going with the guy who will run the R&S best today, I would not be surprised at all to see JW back out on the field this season. He has always been a team guy (yeah yeah the suspension for punching the kid might have cost us the utep game and, ultimately, a bowl bid, but no hard feelings JW. Sometimes a guy just needs to get knocked the [deleted] out).
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!
