Does anyone know if this channel is available over the air or on cable? If so, what channel is it?

DirecTV is technically over the air after the signal enters the atmosphere. Therefore yes.

this is the old CSTV and is avialaable on both DISH and Direct with the right package. As to cable, some carry it but most don't. get direct, you will not regret it.

I think Uverse is on the AT&T cable network... I dont have Uverse so you might have to look it up but I dont think they offer it. If I were you World stang i'd switch to Direct tv...its alot better than Dish Network

I have it on Time Warner, but do not yet have it in HD.... for what it's worth.

So... Trying to filter through all the wise-guy responses...
Is it correct to state that CBS CS is only available through one of the satellite services (Dish Direct or Direct TV), and is NOT available through Time Warner cable or over air broadcast?
FYI: Whether satellite technically beams a signal through the atmosphere or not, the term "over air broadcast" refers to a terrestrially broadcast standard def or high def signal.

It's available on satellite. As was posted earlier, it's channel 152 for Dish. DirecTV, I don't know. Cable, I don't know.

It is available on both satellite services. It is not available on most cable carriers, though some will have it depending on which city you live in (typically as part of an add on sports package). It is not available on Verizon fios or AT&T uverse (unless they have added it very recently).

if enough people call their cable provider complaining about channels not carried on their network, they might actually add it.

Its one of the additional premium options on DirecTV, so for $12 per month, I get CSTV and all the regional Fox channels as well as the Golf Channel, Versus, NBA network. The only downer is that with DirectTV do get some channels that you might need to block in the regular spectrum like Logo and the 1000 shopping channels.
