Serious question though: Does anyone know the Rice tailgating rules? Any "no glass" rules or otherwise?

couch 'em when we were there two years ago it was just out in the parking lot. There was basically no organization and no rule enforcement of any sort.

Want to bring your own food and tailgate in the parking lot? Parking at Rice Stadium is free in the surrounding lots (some areas are reserved for donors). The parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff . You can tailgate by your vehicle, but you can not set-up in adjoining parking spaces or in fire lanes.
