Spirit Shop - Hacked?

Postby SMU89 » Sat Aug 23, 2008 3:53 pm

When clicking on the Spirit Shop link from Home Page of PonyFans.com, it appears the site has been hacked?

Trying to get a new shirt -- Bookstore on Mockingbird was out of my size in everything I wanted and all of their stock is on the floor.

It's already hard enough to find SMU gear in Dallas. So tired of seeing all of the non-local schools taking up shelf space.

I tried to translate it, but it was all gibberish about the united nations. Do we have any turks on here?

I noticed that as well when I logged on to buy a shirt for 8/29. Anyone know when the parents can order jerseys with their kids name and number on them?

The only # you can get is #11

I believe NCAA guidelines prohibit wearing names of players on jerseys that are on the team. Correct me if I am wrong.

It's a hacker from Turkey -- they hack hundreds of sites every day that have weak or no security using automated ftp password-guessing programs etc. They don't even overwrite or delete files, they just add index files and rename old ones.

Some people have a lot of time on their hands and it doesn't help that countries like Turkey don't give two s***s about it.

I believe you can order a custom jersey with your sons name and number on the back thru an online site but I do not know of those sites. I am sure there are others on PFs that can help you out Mrs H

Trying telling Mrs. Chase not to wear her jersey like she has the past years. Always liked sitting around her on road games.

The Spirit Shop got all gooned up when we moved to the new server. Just haven't had a free weekend in a long time to work on it.

Sorry guys.
