DIAL M FOR MUSTANG SHOW tonight!

Postby PonyPride » Wed Aug 27, 2008 3:51 pm

Wanted to invited everyone to come out tonight to Peggy Sue's BBQ in Snider Plaza for the second "Dial M for Mustang" radio show. Bobbi Roquemore (Dallas Morning News), James Bryant (ponystampede) and I will be joined tonight by defensive coordinator Tom Mason, as we look forward to Friday's opener at Rice.

Those who joined us last week had a good time, not to mention good food, and we're hoping more and more folks will come out to join us.

Will someone please ask about the future for a men's track team. I know this is a football show but maybe word it like:

"Coach Mason, how would you feel about having an Olympic Shot Put medalist on your defensive line like SMU did in the Pony Express days when they had a track and field team?"

or:

"Coach Mason, sould you use some Olympic grade sprinters in the secondary?"

Will you take calls? Love to call in and say "first time caller, long time listener, since your very first show."

Not sure. There's talk of passing a microphone around to those in attendance. Not sure what the plan is today.

Wasn't able to attend due to family commitments. Can anyone give a rundown or overview of what was said? Thanks in advance.

I'm sure one of hte sites will have a more detailed overview up later, but basically Mason predicted 4 or 5 turnovers, and 6 sacks Friday.
