I say the Demon Deacons live up to their preseason #23 billing. Baylor might eventually get some recruits in there with Briles, but not good enough tonight. Will be another tough year for them in the Big 12.

for a second I thought this thread was called Baylors chances vs WTF.
I think maybe Baylor surprises them. It'll be interesting to see who the QB is.

I'd expect to see Kirby Freeman start at QB for Baylor. He transfered from the U last year. but they have no chance to beat Wake Forest IMO

Baylor's chances vs. Wake ?
Slim and none.
Much like SMU, Baylor will get better, but not just yet. That transition will take a bit longer, even with marginally better athletes already in place.

I think Wake has a real program going now after all those years. From what I have been told, the entire program is operating like a well oiled, confident machine. Baylor isn't there yet, despite all the Big 12 $$'s, a position which we should aspire to and will begin working on this Friday night.

DMN reports that QB will be gametime decision. The old shell game.

I wasn't too far off on the score. Turnovers absolutely killed 'em besides the factor they are Baylor. I think Griffin will be a good player and maybe win a game or two for them down the road that they shouldn't win. Would love to see him on a contending team. Also had several bonehead moments and fumbles, typical for a freshman.

I knew Griffin was supposed to be a great runner but he has a Big Arm too-not sure he knows what to do with it yet but he throws bullets. Baylor ought to just get the Vince Young playbook out for Griffin because he is dangerous in the Zone Read.

Call it intuition, but I think Bayor will not fare well in this game.

Wow that's a great call. I predict NC State will have some trouble as well, and Stanford will get lucky and win the game on a bad Oregon State turnover.

I'll bet they don't do too bad for Baylor's standards. Give me the Bears and 29 points for 10 Grand. What do you say?

I will. Also, I'm changing my score to 41-13 WF. Just have a feeling it's not the Bears night. Guess we'll see.
