Have to go with former Supersonic and Buck (among others) Ricky Pierce, who happens to be an Owl twice over - Garland High Owls and Rice Owls.

[Kinda or really lame, yes, but not much else to talk about that hasn't already been covered 23 times. Dont hate me because I'm beautiful.]

Hedwig is probably more famous than Ricky Pierce.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Try [deleted] Magel he was all american. In a cotton bowl game against bama
one of the Copeland bama players ran off the bench when Magel broke one and tackled him. Rice was awarded a very long touchdown run.

Lance Berkman

Ricky Pierce

Jose Cruz Jr

Larry Izzo

Bert Emanual

Those are my favs off the top of my head. Also, I think that Howard Hughes went to Rice (although not as an athlete)

The great Rodrigo Barnes. Absolute beast NG at Rice. I remember him well playing at Rice stadium in the early 70's.

You misspelled Maegle but you are right on all counts.

Seriously guys, I was just down in Patagonia and there was an owl in this barn we were visiting. Have you ever seen an owl run? Sure do trot around like little fairies...

The only good owl is a dead owl.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

You'll be seeing a lot of this guy in the next few months. Nite Owl from The Watchmen graphic novel and soon-to-be-released movie.
