Obviously not what any of us wanted, but its only one game!!! It wasnt fun walking back to the light rail listening to some Rice students talk about how much we paid June, but I am very encouraged by the turn out!! Lots of SMU fans which was awesome. The 13-0 score had me calling American Airlines checkin on flights to BCS bowls, but I calmed down before I pulled the trigger. We are going to be fine. I was amazed how many freshman played...Bo, Turner, Cole, others?? June knows what he is doing, I mean, if he didnt, would he and the entire coaching staff be able to strut the sideline with their shirts untucked???

Texas St. WATCH OUT...we are going to let off some steam on some junior college ballers!!!

And for anyone making a trip down to Houston for a Rice/SMU game...the light rail between downtown and Rice is very convenient! Magnolia hotel, great rate this weekend!!
