Just passed Sam Houston and its starting to rain--FYI for those who haven't left yet--just sprinkles but its a bit cloudy.

Like the gurus who claim that it's possible via meditation to think of nothing, you claim to have no expectations. Having no expectations is impossible. I believe you expect that we'll lose and will be pleasantly surprised if we don't.

No - I actually came into last night with no expectations. I hoped we would be good enought to win. I feared we would be blown out, but I actually had NO CLUE what we would see in this year's debut.

Let's just chalk it up as what...8 straight season opening losses now?

I'm not sure at this point that I "expect" us to win next week. I certainly hope we do, but I fear we could actually be humiliated in the home opener. I don't know. I honestly don't know at this point. That's what having "no expectations" is all about. I just hjope we get better week after week until I regain some expectations for this team.
