I saw him play several series at middle LB-he needs to get in shape. We don't need another BIG LB we need some LBs who can fly to the ball.

so true. the ILBs were so slow reacting....i know they were probably trying the best they can and all but just way too slow to make a play. you know its bad when the QB for a spread offense starts running it up the gut for big gains.

I thought Fleps did a good job. Always seems to be around the ball. He looked to be playing big and fast.

Felps ok but Smart was way too slow. sits on his heels on the snap a lot and plays too high which lowers his reaction time....Smart was a big reason for the QB 31 yd gain on the 3rd and 17. we need quickness at that position.

We need talent at that position as well as the other 2 spots. I thought Dizer and Sowe would be somewhat of a factor and that wasn't the case. Yenga showed why he should start.

LB's the biggest defensive disappointment. I would guess they are thinking about some personnel moves at this point. They have to get ton faster - I would not be surprised to see some young guys inserted there.

He was in coverage, as were all of the LBs, a LOT more than I thought they would be. He wasn't spy on that 3rd and 17 play. He was in coverage and didn't see Clements take off. Which begs the question...where was the spy and LB blitzes?
