To the jackball at the Rice game:

Yes, you, Mr. "Justin Willis should be in the game... Hey, Orsini, how much are you paying this guy...etc., etc., etc." You, not the team on the field, are the embarrassment to SMU.

I don't know how much you had to drink, but I hope you had a hell of a hangover Saturday morning. You certainly made enough of an [deleted] of yourself Friday night. The whole stand-up-in-the-stands-and-yell-insults-at-the-coach-and-team-and-AD performance didn't make anyone sitting around you stand up and agree. I'm just grateful you finally took my advice and just went home in the 3rd quarter.

I understand being passionate about SMU. I understand hating to lose. I really understand hating to lose to Rice. But did you really believe that we were going undefeated this season? If so, you really are as stupid as you looked on Friday night.

Most of your commentary was based around your obvious belief that Justin Willis wouldn't have made any mistakes on the field last night. I've seen the kid play. He would have probably made the same amount of mistakes, they just would have involved more scrambling. Bo Levi Mitchell was only sacked what, twice? It will get better. Yelling, "here we go again," does nothing to support the team. Why bother buying a ticket and wearing SMU colors if you only plan to heckle them?

I get that you are a huge believer in Justin Willis. Great. I think that the fight that resulted in his suspension before the UTEP game left an opening for a stalker. Maybe you can work something out in that role.

You, and those like you, are what is wrong with SMU fans as a whole. You truly believe that you know more than a proven coach, who has seen more film and practices than you could imagine. He is paid the big money for results. Those results did not come in the first game. They may not come in the first season. But you certainly couldn't do any better, no matter what you think.

As for me, I will continue to support the Mustangs. I am a Mustang fan. That's why I bothered cheering them on, even in the waning minutes of the 4th quarter. They deserve our support. Insulting them from the stands does not make you a big man. In fact, it makes you a [deleted].

In case that last word is deleted, which it probably should be, two words come to mind when I think of you... Summer's Eve.

That is all.

Must be the same guy I heard screaming his way out of the stadium in the fourth. I'm glad I was sitting right below the concourse and only had to hear him as he left.

That was very state school, sir.

He's a good man. I really wanted to go confront this jerk in person. FWMustang told me he would bail me out of jail after I was finished.

Thanks, FWMG. We don't need that nonsense around, hope he doesn't bother showing up at Ford.
