Kind of funny that Jones' former Hawaii DC (Jerry Glanville) is now head coach at Portland State.
I wouldn't read too much into the performance against Angelo State. We have a history of playing up (or down) to the level of our competition like no other team I have ever seen. Last year we got blasted by a D-2 and then only lost by 7 to Baylor the next week and played them very even. Were it not for a bad pass on our final drive we could have tied it and sent it to overtime.
