Actually, that's the year we lose to Duke in the Phaser Bowl. -CoS

I will be there looking a very young 132. Of course I will be able to beam directly to my seats from Sherwood.

Unfortunately, I don't think JW will see the field at all this year, and if I was him, I'd be introducing myself to the Texas State coaches before the game this Saturday!

"Hi I'm Justin Willis! Could your team need a former record setting-now fourth string QB for next season coach?"

Yep, that Texas State diploma will look really impressive hanging on the wall behind his desk.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I believe it is MrMustangSHSU.
Now then, given a choice...a free ride at SMU or TSU...which would you choose? Unless there is really any chance of his going pro, he would be much better off getting his SMU diploma.
BTW, no doubt SHSU is head and shoulders above TSU. All they do at TSU is party.

BTW, what has that got to do with education?

Who was talking about education.
Okay, a serious answer to your question. Think in terms of an athlete. You are getting a free ride, but it's because of your football talent. I'm thinking if that's why I got the free ride, I go where I can play football. As opposed to be on the team and riding the pine.

Not to spoil the ego trip, but isnt Justin on track to graduate from SMU in May? I could swear one of the newspaper articles said that, after he was benched. Remember, he redshirted, this is really his 4th year here.

Yes and I do beleive he can go to any D1 school that has a masters course
not offered by SMU and play his 4th year.

hmmm...JW's from Denton...how ironic would it be if he followed in Dez's footsteps and went to NTSU for that master's?
