So you are judging the Paul Johnson hire based on his first game.....that they won? That is like judging the JJ hire based on a 20 point loss to Rice.

I'm thrilled with June Jones and would take him over Johnson....but give it a rest...Paul Johnson is a good football coach and the fact that we were in the running for him was great.

Amen to that!

BTW Auburn is beating up on Southern Mississippi 17-0 in the 3rd.

If Auburn is only able to score 17 in 3 qtrs on Southern Mississippi it does not look good for SMU later in the year when we play Southern Mississippi..

yeah....we only offered jones.

if you believe that, Liberache was straight, Adrain Peterson considered SMU, and the Big 12 is looking at us.

Johnson is getting it done so far, w/o that much talent. He'll reload at Tech and they'll be formidable
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones
