Too bland like that. Looks high school. Why don't we go back to solid jersey, solid pants, and a solid color helmet. Anything else is too busy.

We have real stuff to whine about, and we're wasting our time on uniforms and announcers?

Have either of you seen a high school uniform recently? Bland is the exact opposite of what I would call them. Panels and piping. Most high school unis look like crap.

The best college unis are simple: Texas, Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, Alabama, Penn State. Simple is far different than bland.

well i still like them with the stripes on the shoulders... matches the pants and helmet and the adidas logo

I agree to some extent. I just wish the stripes on the shoulders somewhat resembled the stripes on the helmet and pants. They are out of context. Out of place.

They look ok. I just wish the SMU lettering was bigger. It's too small and can hardly be read on TV.

how about a compromise-two stripes maximum on the lower sleave. Dallas Cowboys have 2 stripes and they look fine.

Last night was the first SMU football game I've ever attended. I liked the new uniforms including the stripes, liked the announcer, and even liked the Pony Up guitar playing thing. I'll be at the TCU game also. Do I need a shrink?
