Tech Game Viewable Locally?

Postby ponyboy » Tue Sep 09, 2008 9:35 am

I know there was a thread on this, but I can't find it. Will FSN SW show the game locally?

Yes. 6 p.m. Joel Meyers is your PBP and Gary Reasons is the analyst.

Also, may need to set record for 2 hours past scheduled time.

Dagnabit! Looks like the Austin FSNSW is carrying Jackson State vs. Tennesee state during that time frame. D'oh!

Not that that effects most of the rest of you, of course.

Dunno' if I can help you, I didn't even seem to find it on PPV. But I know there have to be enough Tech grads in the area, plus this being Big XII country, that at least some bars have to be picking this game up... at least here. Who knows about Llano.

I was checking guide on my cable box last night and also found the Jackson State/Tennessee State game. I'm guessing the guide just hasn't updated to SMU/tech yet?

Theoretically, that should be Time Warner cable channel 32. Not sure what the digital # would be. Yesterday, that time slot was showing the Jackson St. vs. Tennessee matchup, but today it's showing TBD... So hopefully that'll be a step in the right direction.

It better be, because my wife just went to the store to acquire chili fixin's. Would be really steamed to be sitting in front of the TV Saturday night with a hot bowl of chili and an ice cold beer to watch friggin' Jackson St.

There's also that game in the Los Angeles Coliseum between USC-Ohio State. Might be a decent watch. Starts at 7 p.m.

I do, even though the Buckeyes are probably going to get beat pretty handily.
