Not sure when these were taken, I assume in the last couple of days. The Field Turf is supposed to drain up to 8 inches of water per hour, but I suppose you need to turn on the pumps first.

I was born... on the Llano Estacado.

They cancelled classes for today and were not letting cars drive onto the campus as of last night...

Thank goodness we play TTU in Sept now days. Back in the 70s-80s we play them late in November. Imagine rain then a freeze! Then we could forget the swim team and take the hockey team instead.

For the Classic 1982 Game, there were wind gusts I guarantee you of about 50 mph.

Do the current field conditions favor the running game or the passing game? Will a small quick defensive line have any advantage over a larger offensive line? If a receiver drops a ball and it floats, can he still pick it up and call it a catch (technically it never touched the ground)? Will the current field conditions put a damper on the kicking game? How does one tee the ball when it may be floating?

At least Leach now has a place he can play with his pirate ships other than the bathtub.
