The last time we beat Tech. 13-7 in Lubbock.

Yeah that was a great day-the bomb had been dropped 6 days earlier-surprising we came to play that day. The next week when reality set in it was Arkansas 41-SMU 0.

I think #28 Terrell was the back that day, Jeff Atkins problems had begun to surface.

It certainly was not that big compared to the one that was given out on February 6, 1987. It's hard to say that the boosters $61,000 was well spent - given the pain of the last 20 years!!!!
Has anybody seen Sherwood lately?

Were you? I think I can answer that, uh... no.
(I sure was..... but barely.... those are some of my earliest memories. I was four when I froze my keister off with my family to watch the Ponies beat Marino and Pitt.)

A Michigan booster gave 10 times that amount, $616,000, to four players and it certainly hasn't set their program back the way it has SMU's.

Not gonna set back the Trojan program one bit.
