Here's the thing, BLM has been a TO machine, but the defense is more problematic if you ask me. Only game we should have been in, Rice, was a debacle defensively. Texas St marched all over the field, even w/BLM performing. Tech was going to score at will, no matter what
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

Even a field goal is a nail in the coffin.

The defensive did a very admirable job against Texas Tech in the first half. They were put in many short-field situations bc of BLM's INTs and stood up very well against a great offense.
Not saying that our D is good, but I am saying that they did impress me wiuth their play first half vs Tech compared to the Rice and Texas State games.

good field position for the 1st time all night; need to put some points on the board. TCU probably came into this game hoping to pitch a shutout

Something smells; but it is not a come back. Yep, you may have stepped in it to everyone's chagrin.
