My goodness, most of them don't think that we will stay within 3 touchdowns of them.

I like to see a little swagger from a team's fan base, even if they have lost 10 of their last 15. I guess SMU does that to people...

And sadly, I haven't seen anything that would make me believe otherwise.

I'll still be infront of that television watching the game though. Go Ponies.

Tulane has played a pretty good schedule with Alabama and ECU. The ULM game was probably closer than is should have been. We have yet to prove we can win on the road and we have a short week. Tulane has every right to believe it will be a blow out.

Now if we can reduce significantly the number of turnovers, stupid penalties and blown coverages, we can make a game of it. Big "if" since we haven’t done all three in one game in over 3 years (TCU 2005)

So far, SMU has brought their D- game. If we can bring our C+ game, then we beat the spread.

Unfortunately I will be in the Big Easy for this one... As long as BLM starts we lose by 30+.

All I will say is this:

I've got a feeling that everyone who makes the trip will be happy they are in New Orleans after the game.

You need to understand ... our defense is ranked # 8 in the country ... Stat wise we cleaned the floor with Alabama and ECU and could have easily won both of those games. We are 3 special teams plays away from being 3 - 0. For those of us who have been following Tulane for awhile we see the program moving in the right direction.

We know you have a young team, new schemes and a inexperienced quaterback ... you put that up against our defense and it may not be pretty. Thats why most Tulane fans think we can win by 3 touchdowns.

Roll Wave! Hope many of you make the trip to New Orleans.
