I liked the burst he showed in the backfield, and hope that's something we utilize again.

But he looked like he was in a lot of pain coming off the field. Anyone hear any update on his shoulder?

DMN said he was believed to have a serious shoulder injury. Let's hope for the best. Aside from his potential, in the interview he gave after accepting the SMU scholarship he came across as a really good kid.

I gather that's true. I know two people who said they met him, and that he was a first-class guy.

BJ was Evans roommate during summer school and he is a wonderful kid. His parents are great people that did a wonderful job raising their son. Best wishes from the Huahulu family on a speedy recovery for BJ.

ProudMama, I said hello to Evan last week, and told him that I met you and Joe. He seems to be a really good young man.

I heard it was a shoulder dislocation...I have met him also, ditto on a great kid and wonderful, supportive parents.

If it's really dislocated, I'd bet his season is over. Those can be nasty.
Obviously, we all hope that's not the case.
Feel better soon, B.J.

Wow. That truly sucks.... he was looking good out there. Sigh. Well, here's to a speedy recovery and to seeing him 100% next season.

RRP - I am oddly mesmerized by your avatar. I keep wondering what happened to my beer. Now, I know. Keep your voodoo away from my adult beverages!

This is the only thing I could think of when you said Evan and B.J. were roommates

What happened to B.J.'s nameplate? I noticed it was not on when he came into the game.
