What a great read. We need these kids. And I will confess that I had no idea Tonga was a Kingdom. Pretty cool.
Tonga is one of only a few ruling monarchies in existance. When Captain Cook discovered Tonga he named it The Friendly Islands because of the warmth of it's people. It is a gorgeous, untouched place entrenched in the values of family, Christianity and education....oh, and rugby too ![]() The author of this article was right on target and hopefully Euless will be one of the places that the coaches look at kids in the future. I have very much liked all the Tongans I have met over the years, and their rugby culture gives them great ball handling abilities. I remember during the last World Cup they gave England a real run for their money.
Good read. Thanks for posting. We need a "Director of Pacific Islander Affairs" like the guy at Utah mentioned in the article. Or better yet, a "Director of 4-5 star recruit affairs".
