Don't you just love "financial socialism"?

Twilley got laid off. He shorted positions in March in the perfect locations and his manager disagreed and got rid of them in August.
So, what did you buy so I can short them?

I have been all cash for about 6 months now and staying that way and don't care to look for awhile.
Sucks about Twilley - he has a ton of connections. Maybe he and Raplh can leave love notes on each others cars like they used to. Ok, substitute "love" with Phish but still strange when you don't know the other person

If you want, I will give you some thoughts on this mess...since I helped start it. And, by the way, DO NOT BUY AIG!!!! but, then again, if any of you take investment advice from pony fans, buy it!

Sale purchases that didnt work through at the close yesterday. I dont think 7k is the floor anymore either, we got there too soon. Wait until you see consumer spending through the holidays, that should be pretty.

Seeing John McCain talking about the mortgage ordeal is painful. He doesn't really seem to know anything about it.

Buy Campbell's Soup.
Buy a good mattress for any other money you have left.
Blame the political party other than the one you like.
It's just a boom/bust. If you weren't ready for it don't blame me. You can't go 100% stocks and expect to win. Study the market. Read Black Swan.
Sleep well.
