Coin toss blunders

Anyone know of a game more recent than 2004 when one team blew the coin toss and had to kick off to open both the 1st and 2nd half?
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

I was hoping Texas wouldnt be the only one that made that mistake! Got to be careful who gets to talk when you head out to the coin toss

This happened in one of my high school games, as we always deferred too. My coach couldn't stop laughing because the other team's coach was so pissed when the second half started and he didn't realize what happened until that moment when the ref told him.

I accidentally did that once in an intramural game at SMU. Someone on my team commented that the other team must though I was being really confident. :lol:
