So, I was not able to follow the game. But from the score and some of the comments, let me guess. We had a great game till the 4th quarter when we couldn't move the ball and couldn't stop Tulsa.
All in all, an improvement which resulted in a 60s-70s era effort (close but no win).
OK, Now fill me in.

The last 10 minutes: we give up a 4th-and-22 for a TD, a pick on the next series and drop the game-winner in the end zone.

Almost exactly right... but it wasn't a bad 4th... it was a bad end to the fourth.
Damn it.

Lake Highlands is actually a pretty large part of town.

Thank for filling in the gaps. Now, based on those that witnessed this game, is there hope for the rest of the season? Seems we were but a few mistakes away this time instead of the usual bountiful mistakes.

Well...it wasn't 70-7 like a lot of experts on this board were predicting, Bo looked good, OL gave him time to look not twice but on several occassions, three times across the field before he found an open receiver

Yes, hope definitely. Two weeks ago, we put together a great second half. Last week we had a great first half. Today we had a great most of the game. I do think it is coming together, but.... well... still... we are 1 and whatever. We need to win 3 of these remaining to aid recruiting.

Well, Dandy Don will be here next week.
Only fitting if we welcome him with an if, and buts, and candy, and nuts
then everybody will have a MERRY CHRISTMAS example
game.

Played two good quarters two weeks ago, three good quarters last week, and but for a few braincramps, four good quarters this week.
