Aren't you the one who discounts the mere existence of a player until his height and weight is verified ... but only by the computer geeks at Rivals?

You're right about his lack of size when he got to SMU. I was told (by a source I consider extremely credible) that when he weighed in during last season, he actually snuck UNDER 200 pounds a couple of times, after sweating off his few ounces of excess weight. That same friend says he's solidly up to - or over, depending on how recently he has eaten - 220.

In the meantime, this is a meaningless argument. Wasn't this thread started as a tribute to Yenga?

Keep up the great work, Youri. You're a real pleasure to watch.

Around here, no tribute goes unpunished.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I'll start a tribute thread to Yale blue if you want me to.

Too late. It's already been punished.

You're right. He weighed in Tuesday at 227.

FUN FACT:

Texas Tech's Offensive Line which averages 6-6, 325 has given up only 1 sack in 264 pass plays during this entire season-to Youri Yenga for 11 yards.

Add another blocked PAT to his greatness. It should have won the game for us. He was close a couple of other times.
