DE Corey Green Dallas Madison

Postby Stallion » Fri Mar 14, 2003 1:47 pm

from the Insiders this kid almost looks too good to be true-6-3,240 106 tackles(96 solos), 4 fumble recoveries, 8 caused fumbles, 13 sacks, 27 QB pressures, 38 OTHER tackles for loss-HIS FAVORITES: UT, OU, OSU, Iowa, TCU and SMU.

Wow - have we offered him, or is it still in the recruiting stage?
Thanks Stallion

I've seen a picture of the kid, and he looks nasty. He also looks really lean, meaning he's got a lot of growing to do, IMHO.

Madison traditionally isn't a real good team, right? Maybe his numbers were inflated a bit because nobody on the defense can tackle (or run)? Just a guess.

I hear UT's his early favorite. He likes them, but I haven't seen anything about how much they like him.,

Green would be a nice addition to the pass rush over the next few years. I read that he's often double-teamed, and still is extremely effective. We might be fighting some of the big boys for this kid.

Insiders lists him as having "high" interest in Texas, and "medium" interest in SMU, Iowa, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and TCU.

I just read a report that said Corey Green might be the fastest defensive lineman in all of Texas. We need to figure out how to get him.
