Stephen McGee, QB, Burnet -- We have offered but we are not one of his favorites

Chase Williams, RB/Safety, Rockwall -- 4.32 forty, 5'10" 190

Williams sounds super-fast for a safety if that time is accurate. Maybe a CB in college?

Don't give up on Chase Williams just yet. He's extremely fast (4.32) and a smart, instinctive player who can line up at CB or at safety (he also plays RB for the Yellowjackets, but he's projected to be a DB in college).

He's fairly strong, too, having benched anywhere from 265-290 (depending on who you talk to) and has squatted over 400. He's measured 33 inches in the vertical leap.

A "B" student who shouldn't have problems qualifying.

As a junior, Williams rushed 55 times for 203 yards and caught 1 pass for 10 yards.

In the early going, he's listing Texas Tech, SMU, TCU, Oklahoma State and Baylor . He grew up a Tech fan, and plans to go to camp this summer at Texas Tech and SMU.
