Texas receivers are dropping everything. Tech had a Perfect Storm Scenario for this game.

I think the crowd is getting to TX, first time they have been in this atmosphere
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

UT's coaching staff makes great adjustments at halftime. Look at how strong they usually are in the second half. Look at how many times they have come back from seemingly insurmountable deficits at halftime to win under Mack Brown: games against OSU, the 2006 game against TT, etc.

Solid point. I was thinking the same thing. I am pulling for TT if they win they wont get the # 1 spot I bet.

I am a neutral observer on this game. My parents are UT alums; my uncle played football for Tech.

This is going to be a good run towards the end of the year. PSU looks like they will go undefeated with only one win against a top ranked team, but i expect the other top teams to be 1 loss when its over if TX loses tonight.
Tech still has OSU and OU coming up...

the talent Tech has assembled on defense is proving for the 2nd straight week beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are very much improved on defense. Its called recruiting. Combine a Heisman quality QB, the Best Receiver in the Country and the Best Offensive Line in the Country playing at home in Lubbock in the biggest game in school history on National TV and UT's got trouble. I bet they make a run in second half but this is a big hill to climb. If Tech wins they'll stumble in their gaunlet run through Big 12 South.

Bama could very easily lose to Florida in the SEC Championship...it all depends on which Florida team shows up. If the Florida team that beat UGA today shows up, Bama will go down.

LSU has to show up. Auburn doesn't have much of a chance against Bama, I am afraid.
