StallionsModelT wrote:Ohhhh dickless. Aren't we special. And yes I want SMU to win. I've wanted SMU to win every game since I started following the team. I've bought season tickets, given money to the Mustang Club, driven/flown to road games, etc.

It hurts like hell when we lose, but you know what? I'm not about to go into a football game as a fan and say I don't "expect" things from my team. To do so is to be emotionally detached and weak. Being a fan of any team is 90% misery, it just so happens SMU fans have endured a remarkable amount of misery over the last 20 years. The odds are that your team is not going to go undefeated, win the conference, win the national title, etc. every year. Therefore for the vast majority of a fan's existence, we exist in misery. But it is through that misery that when your team does overcome its obstacles and achieve its goals that you understand what being a fan is all about. Its about the suffering and waiting and whining that we all do. But vaginas like you would rather throw your skirts up and half-[deleted] it. You want to be a part of the celebration but you don't want to feel the heartache of a loss. To me, your not a fan, just an observer. Fans hurt, fans [deleted], fans whine, fans get frustrated and angry. FANS EXPECT THINGS FROM THE TEAM. But I wouldn't EXPECT someone like you to understand that.

Now go get your f'in shinebox.

F off you whiney little pussbag loser. You don't know [deleted] about misery. Come back and talk to me and the rest of us true fans after you've sat with it for the 20 years we have. Better yet, stick with the program through two years of nothing beacuse of the one and only death penalty and then come back, mouth. I am sick of little [deleted]@sses like you coming on here and spouting that joining the mustang club makes you something you're clearly not. "Since I started following the team..." How long has that been, 5 years? Keep on having your expectations and going through your misery--have many times have your expectations for a win been right since you've been "following the team"? The problem with "fans" like you is that you haven't been around long enough to freaking know any better, so you'll eat anything SMU pulls out of its @ss and puts on a spoon. It wasn't always like this, but you obviously haven't been "following the team" long enough to know it.

I rest my case. And just for your information princess, the first college game I ever attended was an SMU vs. A&M game in the Cotton Bowl in the early 90's. That's when I fell in love with SMU Football. I attended every home game during my four years on the Hilltop (02-06) and witnessed some of the most gut-wrenching, disgusting, horrid football you have ever seen. And you know what [deleted]? Every year in August I'm rejuvinated and re-energized ready for another season. ITS WHAT FANS DO!!!! Real fans don't EVER quit investing their money, time, effort, and spirit into the team. Quitters make excuses as to why they can't "do this anymore." If we go winless for 20 straight years I will still be HOPING for wins and EXPECTING us to get better and improve while you sit back and continue to be a [deleted]. But thanks for letting everyone know how big of a vagina you really are.

You are such a bad@ss with all your experience, little twenty-something tool. Class of 2006. You've seen bad football at your school for all of 6 years now? Big friggin deal, mouth. Your daddy take you in the 90s to watch some bad football, or to play in the bouncy house? And you fell in love with THAT FOOTBALL??? You must've been getting hair on your winky around then--you'd have fallen in love with anything. I was there too and before that. I had two degrees from SMU before your momma stopped wiping your @ss. You don't have the standing to argue with me, much less the ability. Frankly all you can come up with is infantile name calling and that's not even an argument and you're not even very good at that. You sure you're daddy didn't really send you to NTSU, little tool? I think maybe he did, because your debate skills don't merit an SMU degree, that's for sure. And you better hope for a win every game. Just don't be a fool and expect one.

HINT HINT HINT-jtstang see this thread for classic Loser boy comments where he was thinking we should just throw in the towel after his half a decade tenure as an SMU fan. A Classic MrMustang1963 Throw in the Towel moment.

Or this one from September 24, 2008:

I'm taking a new approach to the rest of the season. I'm not expecting any wins

Loser boy along with suck buddy SMU2007 were two of the guys going around last year talking about how Phil Bennett was personally losing all these games despite all the great talent stocked up on the team. Both now have flip-floped 3- no 180 degrees. Its been a talent issue in both 2007 and 2008 and for that yes Phil Bennett is largely responsible.

That's awesome man, I've got to learn to use the search function. How about this gem, in honor of Homecoming no less:

StallionsModelT wrote:Its probably a little early to predict how the Memphis game will play out, but I'll be happy to stay within 20 of them.

Now there's a man who has expectations of his team.

Or this:

StallionsModelT wrote:Don't kid yourselves. We are the worst team in the country. Period.

Or this doozy from the guy who's been watching 6 years while criticizing those who've been watching over 30:

StallionsModelT wrote:How much more of this garbage are people going to put with before they reach the breaking point? Its the same song, different verse every year. Only you could make the argument that we weren't the worst team in America for most of those years. This year there is no doubt in my mind there isn't a worse div.1a football team than Southern Methodist University and it isn't even close.

Or this ray of sunshine:

StallionsModelT wrote:Please tell me who on our schedule are we going to beat based on what we've seen so far? I cannot imagine any C-USA team losing to us and it ain't even close. The only marginal chance of victory is Navy, and that's a real stretch.

Stallion, it's been a while since law school, but after he "rests his case" he can't come back and reopen it, can he?

StallionsModelT wrote:Seriously, if we win another game this year its a tear down the goalpost worthy upset.

Nice try princess, but I don't give up hoping and expecting things from my team like all fans. Like I said, fans get frustrated, criticize, doubt, and exist predominantly in misery, but they don't abandon hope or expectations. Again, you're just an observer. Not a fan.

I give this thread no further than 9:15am on Friday, November 7th. Welcome to homecoming!

PS, Stallion...I 100% stand by my comments on PB last year, but dont wish to dwell on them. My point was always that you work with what you have during the season, and he failed miserably at winning games we should have taken home.

In any event, I dont think i ever stated that we dont lack the quality of player we need, but we clearly should have been able to win those games last year with the team we had

Very solid rebuttal, sir. Let me see if I can muster up the kind of intellectual energy it would take to counter yours...

Except the five examples in the post above yours, you little hypocritical p*ssy.

And as for hope, we all have it, the smart fans just don't have expectations after twenty years of not meeting them. Oh sorry, you're barely even twenty years old, so you wouldn't know about that would you.

You aren't very bright if you use those quotes as evidence that I've given up hope. Hell two weeks ago I started a thread that s said there is no question we are making progress. But hey man its cool. Being a fan hurts when you're team sucks. It is so much easier to be an observer and have no expectations like you. Again, you're just an observer, not a fan.

You know what, it's okay that you think so since you clearly don't know what a fan is.

And one more to show just how much hope you have:
