Agree. Get the points and pray for a defensive miracle. If we don't get the points, we are still two scores behind. At least with a field goal, we are only one score and perhaps we get a D stop.

It is just impossible to win a college game without defense. There is no consistency with the defense and the defense just can't make a play. Bennett left the Mustangs without a single decent defensive lineman and linebacker. We just can't win giving up 3rd downs so easily.

That is why we should have kicked the field goal. Put points on the scoreboard. We can't depend on our D but we really can't depend on the D if we don't put points on the board.

Time to quit blaming Bennett. This is Jones' team. And they're still having trouble getting the ball from center to qb.

The SMU defense gave up 60 yards UNDER their season average today...I thought they were outstanding!!!!!
