I post it because this is a message board that talks about topics pertaining to SMU football. And this is big news related to SMU football...makes sense doesn't it?

I do not like to see the mustangs fail..as an SMU alum, i would love to see them win and succeed. But it is very hard to do so when there is not one common goal and players are not doing everything in their power to succeed on and off the field

i wouldnt put it past JJ to suspend them... remember we had a record setting QB who he kicked off the team in the spring? and our starting safety?

If those guys are suspended, it is news. I find it hard to fathom that as an SMU fan and alum you chose this happy news to start your ponyfans posting career, but whatever. I had no expectations that SMU was going to win with them playing anyway.

this is BIG news...anyoen with any sort of brains had no expectations of a winning season this year. This year had NOTHING to do with wins and loses.

It was about laying the groundwork for the future. And these suspensions clearly show that maybe we are not going in the right direction...this is BIG news

Seems to me it means if you aren't going in the right direction, you get suspended.
