the most important stat is the 10 TDs against only 2 INTs. That's important, no mater what the level of competition you're going against.

The important thing about a QB signing is that it gives us some much needed depth at the position. I'd like to see Tate Wallis working out at LB or somewhere else because I don't see him helping this team as a QB.

I don't understand this. I'm sorry, but JUCO players are only slightly better than high school players. Was this kid recruited highly out of HS or not? What makes him so special... just because he is a JUCO recruit? There is such a thing as a BAD JUCO recruit.

I don't think they're related at all (although I can't swear to it, of course). How weird would it be if Ricky Joe Meeks agreed to switch jersey numbers so we could have another #5 with ROMO across the back?

And how long until "Letterman" conjures up a Top 10 List comparing the two?

Well, he was successful in HS, and had good numbers in JUCOland...

He has played the past two years rather than sit the bench...who knows.

a lot of QBs in California go to JUCO because there are a lot of good QBs in Cali (they have been playing 7on7 for quite some time unlike Texas QBs) and only so many Div1a schools.

It's still a crap shoot, obviously we would rather of had the Blinn or Kansas JUCO guys.

But, ROMO seems to be an athletic running style QB capable of throwing, and iwth a young offense, sometimes that's better than a great throwing QB that isn't protected enough.

Hmmm .... lefty QB who can run and has a pretty strong arm. Whoever the new offensive coordinator/QB coach is will have hte benefit of teaching two similar QBs. (Of course Wallis and Nixon and Meeks and this Eckert guy, if that rumor is true, don't fit the same -- lefty -- mold. So maybe my whole point is moot.
