BIG weekend coming up

I hear there will be more than a dozen recruits at SMU next weekend. I bet a few of them are guys who already have committed to SMU, but who else will be there?

The only one I can find is Burnet OL Ed Rollman. Anyone know who else will be there?

Rollman and DB Jonathan Penelton from Skyline are scheduled for Jan 9 as well as commitments DeMyron Martin, Vincent Chase and Corley Blackmon.. LM Sean Lobo is scheduled for Jan 16.

Haven't heard about Penelton. What kind of player is he? How big/fast is he? Who else is recruiting him?

I can't find anything on the internet about the guy.

Insiders says that Chris Spears, a 2 star safety from Mansfield Summit, is visiting this weekend. Anyone know anything about this and any other recruits not mentioned?

By the way, Rollman was rated the 57th player in the State preseason by SuperPrep. He would be a BIG pickup and would really give us an imposing line when Chris Hall joins the program!
