Re: David HaynesThat'd be great. Offers from Kansas and Okla. State. Has visits set up with Arkansas and A&M, too.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: David Haynesif true this would be a big commitment and one of the 4-5 targets I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Gotta give Bennett some credit-with Martin and Haynes he may finish strong yet especially if our remaining few players are of the caliber of Martin and Haynes. Haynes had scheduled visits to A&M, Arkansas, Kansas and SMU.

Re: David Haynessorry Stallion, but I missed it - who is Martin?
Re: David HaynesRB DeMyron Martin from Allen-maybe the hottest player in Texas based on his playoff performance. Search down for previous posts.

Re: David HaynesAre we recruiting him at DB?
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: David Hayneshe projects as a CB-but he put up some serious rushing numbers as a running QB this year-I think he had 1,100 rushing which is unusual for a QB.

Re: David HaynesIf this is confirmed, this is great. All I've read is that coaches kept trying to write him off, saying he's too small (5-10, 170, 4.4 on most lists I've seen), but he just kept making plays. Too good to pass up, it seems.

Re: David HaynesSounds like we have found someone who can run back kicks and punts. I like playmakers. Just think, people passed on Darren Sproles for being too small.
Re: David HaynesA lot of people skipped over Blake Warren, too, but he sure looked good running a punt all the way back against Rice (it was Rice, wasn't it?) I'll gladly take a bunch of these guys who flat-out make plays.
Re: David HaynesI like playmakers also, but we need lineman, ESPECIALLY BIG DEFENSIVE LINEMAN!!!!!!!! I'm tired of the opposing teams 330 lb offensive lineman pounding on our 240 lb converted linebackers. We need BEEF in the middle just as BUS hammers home daily!!!!!!!!!!1
Re: David HaynesI would agree, although if there aren't any good ones available, I'm cool with the collection of playmakers/athletes.
Maybe the focus of next year's "3 or 4" JUCOs will be linemen? Sure hope so, anyway.
Re: David HaynesDid anybody get confirmation on this?!!
