Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupOnce again you've outdone yourselves, fellas. I'm glad I stayed up for the Roundup - sensational job. That looks like a ton of work, and you guys make it look easy. Outstanding stuff!
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupGREAT JOB! Took me an hour to read... I didn't realize that we brought in so much SPEED! Once again, the coaches have impressed me. With all the negativity on this board, I was starting to believe all the BS, but this is a great class!
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupI can't believe you were able to track down the Hawkins and Johnson guys, since they just committed Monday, Fantastic Roundup.

Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupWOW - It took me quite a while to read this summary. Great Job!
Comments We need to send this report to every kid we are looking at next year. The high school coaches talk like they are in love with Bennett, staff and SMU. The new players are focused on getting bigger, faster and proving SMU to be a winner. DAMN WE GOT SOME REALLY FAST KIDS. 4.38 in the rain on grass. Whoa that is cook'in. I like the Lobo OL of course I would right. Beat Texas Tech. Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupInteresting info from Henderson profile:
Projected Major: Kinesiology Have we had that major for a while?
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupWow indeed. That's a hell of a lot of information you guys have (to say you blew away the DMN in coverage would be a gross understatement). It's obvious you guys enjoy what you do, and have a passion for it. Excellent!
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupVery interesting find. I don't think we do. Or do we? Nope. Not yet anyway. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupI know in the fall there was talk of trying to start one. Maybe they have the funding now to be able to offer it for next year?
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupGreat job with the Recruiting Roundup.
It is a thorough review of SMU's recruiting efforts. Thank you for all of your time and effort!
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupSo THAT's what it's like to have serious media coverage for a team from reporters who actually cover the program.
Keep up the great work.
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupMy favorite quote was from LaCori Johnson:
"No, the record last year didn't bother me -- it ticked me off. I'm ready to come in there and help turn the thing around." :showoff: Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupThat was sweet, huh? Sounds like we not only got a bunch of speed, but a little attitude, as well. And we could use that.
How long before Coach Wollman (track) starts hanging around on football recruiting weekends? This is two years in a row the coaches have landed some serious sprinters.
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupCoach Bennett said last year's class (Fred Turner, McGee, Moss and .... someone else) could form a hell of a sprint relay team. From the sounds of things, this year's class is even faster.
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"
- Randy Galloway ESPN Radio (103.3 FM)
Re: 2004 Recruiting RoundupI think the anchor would be Blake Warren from last years class.
