Be sure and send thank you notes to the NCAA for granting McNeal his eligibility?

I think the positives from the game were few and far between, but

McNeil was awesome to watch
Emmanuel Sanders had a good showing in my opinion, now he just needs a QB
and finally, I thought the defense gave up a lot of yards, but for as much as they played I was extremely impressed compared to defenses of the last few years

Did our defense ever pressure their qb ? I saw a couple of hurried throws, but by and large, it looked like our defensive backs were held hostage because of a lack of pressure from our d line.

If you want a positive, look no farther than Bryon Collins. Yes, McNeal looked good, but a lot of it, especially the last drive was due to Collins. He is going to be a good asset on offense.

Aside from that, I sincerely hope BLM finds his range by next week.

Also, Sterling was......well, sterling.

He had a couple great moments, but he needs to turn his head around on coverage. He did redeem himself for getting beat on a pass play by stripping the ball.

He had several big plays, and a couple of bad ones. That comes with the territory for a CB in man coverage. He was also called on to fill in for a sick D Bell. I was very pleased with his overall night.
