As far as BLM, the kid is still not ready. And thats the nicest, most positive spin that can be put on it. Wonder where our senior, past all-conference caliber qb was tonight. Probably watching UT on television or something.

He quit. That was his choice. Plus, I don't believe he was ever going to be the kind of player ever again after that terrible spiral ankle break. He lost too much speed.

uh, broken ankle or not, still faster and more elusive than BLM. would have kept some drives alive tonight to be sure.

jw is gone - not worth discussing. The question is where was Smith? He has a better brain and a quicker release.

Smith? thats the answer? trading one small, slow, inexperienced, avg qb for another. oh my. we're screwed. This is D-1. supposedly.

with all due respect (I have a soft spot for the sad sack Big 10 too) youre nuts. JW doesnt break his ankle if he is not playing dumb wide receiver when he doesn't belong there. JW and Sanders would have gone off on SFA tonight. no excuse for that tonight.

BLM is the guy. We will live or die with him this year. I was really disappointed with his poor fundamentals. Flat-footed throws. Not stepping into them. JJ had to really dumb down the offense in the 4th quarter just to get him a slight ryhthm.

Oh, and I think he accessorizes more than the lovely females in the student section...gloves (I've seen him wear them on both hands in practice), elbow sleeve, facemask shield.

Hmmm... maybe you should check your facts... Colt Brennan had 13 in 2005 and 12 in 2006. He threw 35 TD's in 2005 and 58 in 2006.

We do not run the JJ Run and Shoot because our QB can't run it. Even in his second year. Looks like For the second year in a row JJ will not be in the top 10 in passing offenses. 200 yards agains an FCS team?!

He is on pace for another 24 this year, but the SFA QB is on target for 60.

someone tell me he was one of the players with the swine flu so I have a reason excuse he pathetic performance. His passes were all over the place. Yeah the receivers dropped a few-but Mitchell was wildly inaccurate. I'm trying to keep a fresh perspective this year on Mitchelll but he gets a D from me.

I am going to say 35

He looked awful tonight, and I am going to go out on a limb and say maybe the glove he wore on his throwing hand may have something to do with it.

BLM was terrible. Plain and simple. I don't know what JJ sees (or saw) in him, but IMHO he's not a D1-A QB. And as far as the special "accuracy" factor that JJ emphasizes and used as his excuse to bench JW...well, I'm more accurate hitting the inside of the toilet bowl at 3 a.m. after taking an ambien.
