He could get shot anywhere and JJ would still start him.
Thats correct as JJ still played Bo Levi when he had the Flu and supposedly was throwing up, evidently had ulcers and was losing 20 pounds....he would have to be crawling for JJ to sit him....

I think every remaining game on the schedule is winnable...provided we play well and the other team doesn't. I just have a feeling this SMU team will start improving week after week. Will be really interesting to see how we come out against ECU. They are the more physical team and have that 6 year QB going for them, but I think this game will be competitive. Gotta find a way to win one of the next 4 games

I would agree if they were played at Ford. To win either of these games we will have to score plenty of points. Not impossible, but pretty unlikely IMO.

As stated last summer "we must win 4 games this year"...and we are half way there and we've only had one home game.
This stretch of 5 tough games...we need to somehow have a game where everything clicks and we win one of the five....now there are 4 left.....we need to upset one of the 4 and half of these 4 difficult games are at home.....so maybe we can "steal" one.
If we win one of the 5 tough games we will have 3 wins going into November and November has more winnable games and 3 of the 4 November games are at home.
I still say we must win 4 games to keep progressing....but 5 would be a nice baby step....6 would be crazy.....

Didn't we win at Tulsa not too long ago?
We've never lost the tailgate.

I would still say they are unlikely. Before yesterday I was leaning more toward impossible.

We beat them at home in the recent past. We beat them at their place for 59 minutes and 30 seconds or so a couple of years ago.

We can win 4 but a win in October is critical to take the pressure off the 4 winnable games in November.

Agreed and I don't like our chances in that Marshall game in November either.

I am going to try to make that Marshall game as I will be in Northern VA that week. As I recall, we played Marshall well the last time we were in Huntington but got screwed by the officials. I do not believe that Marshall is as strong this year as in years past and that we should have a decent chance.

I feel like we could say something similar for just about every C-USA team - we beat them for [Some absurd majority of the game] recently
We've never lost the tailgate.

Show up at the game early and remind the band to move their stupid carts out of the stadium!
