Official "Too Tall' Hunt Thread

Postby ponyscott » Sun Oct 11, 2009 12:13 am

He is so talented and will get so much better...he was so excited in the sidelines after his block and he should be utilized more in the defense as he is a real weapon....what will this guy be like by the time he is a senior?.....love him....

He has 4 blocked kick attempts already I think. He has "STUD" written all over him.

He's far from perfect at this point, but he has tons of room to grow. We could have a real player in another year or two.

almost had a sack-he was moving pretty good-that was pretty exciting. The best play in the field I've seen him make.

You would be hard pressed to find a Va. Tech player in the Beamer era who has blocked 3 field goals in two games. Great job

Would it be worth thinking about working him in a bit vs Navy to try to disrupt those runs where we usually get over-extended and our LB's get blocked into the thrid row? Just blasting him in there to knock a few Navy blockers off their game could be interesting and slow the play enough to get a swarm. Just a thought.

Navy will be chop blocking his knees. Wonder if he has had much exposure to that?

He needs a nickname. I was calling him the Estonian Stallion on Saturday, but after I sobered up I was embarrassed for both of us.

I was calling him "Drago" at the same time.

6-7 with that reach? That's a pretty good special teams weapon.

I think it was on the Rivals site where someone nicknamed him Wolf with the intention of calling him Wolf Blitzer.

Yeah, there was some kind of tie in to the Wolf. I thought Wolf Blitzer as very good.
