Re: Darius JohnsonThis is truly good news and I hope these things take over the future discussions on the board.

Re: Darius Johnson
NO KIDDING! Glad Darius is feeling better. He showed flashes of great talent in the opener, before being shelved with that injury. The question is, how much does his return add to the offense? Am I right to assume that he would not start Saturday? I'd assume we still start with Sanders, Robinson, Wilkerson and Beasley, right? Always good to have another threat, though.
Re: Darius JohnsonIf he is fully healthy expect to see him on the field alot the rest of the year. I believe he will eventually start.
Re: Darius JohnsonWith his big play threat and speed I say he starts right away.
Re: Darius JohnsonMight want to ease him into the offense. He has missed a significant amount of time.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Darius Johnson"Go that way. Very, very fast. If something gets in your way [catch it]."
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: Darius JohnsonThank god. Other that AR, TW, and ES we have not had anybody do anything. Will be great to have that 4th receiver!
Re: Darius Johnson
I'd be very surprised. He didn't start the opener, and now he's coming back off an injury. I'd ease him in. There's no need to go overboard rushing him back too quickly. Let him work his way back. He might not feel any pain in the shoulder now, but remember, we hardly hit in practice, either. There's a huge difference between running routes and getting wrapped up by a teammate in practice, and running a route and getting blasted by an opponent in a game.
Re: Darius JohnsonDJ is a great player. Glad to hear he is able to play Saturday.
Think they have brought him on gradually; as I remember, he was practicing before ECU -- granted no real hitting.
Re: Darius Johnsonwe are going to need every weapon we have to be available and playing at the top of their games to win this game Saturday. This is good news, for sure. I expect a high scoring game

Re: Darius JohnsonI would run him long every chance possible and if his coverage guy backs off fire it to him on the run. He will be long gone and not have to worry about getting blasted.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: Darius JohnsonWe need all the speed we can get. I wish you much success DJ.
Re: Darius JohnsonGreat news indeed. We really need a fourth quality receiver for the Navy D to worry about.
