There were a few buried there when Ownby was in existence. I am not sure what happened to all of the remains, but I am 100% certain that there is one, and only one, set of remains that is under the statue at Ford Stadium. Those are the remains of Peruna VI who served us proudly during the Pony Express years.


Also, the remains of Peruna VII who led us from the post-DP years through 1997 and died in 2002 are next to the statue.
