I thought we were the only team that could lose like that.

even if houston HAD lost to tulsa - what were the chances that we would have won 4 straight? anything less than a conference championship will probably send us to the hawaii bowl anyway.

still crappy. stupid tulsa. and stupid UH for sneaking 2 games in a row now...

Maybe we've passed that torch to Tulsa.

It all goes back to the kicking game, doesn't it?

This is CUSA football. Talent level among the 12 teams is pretty close. It's usually about a 5-play difference.

UTEP 38
Tulane 45 F/OT

Houston 46
Tulsa 45

Rice 28
SMU 31

Marshall 20
UCF 21

I know it would not have been the most noble way to win, but that was absolutely a personal foul on the UH receiver blasting the Tulsa defender on the last play before the FG. A textbook cheap shot.

Houston's not home yet. They'll fall.

I think Houston is head and shoulders above the other C-USA teams in talent on offense...they have a ton of guys with great speed and athletism...however their defense stinks and that is why they are involved in nail biters.....Hell, keenum threw for 500 yards in a loss UTEP...they almost lost at home last week to USM in a high scoring game and they lucked out tonight...

Wish we could have a do over with them...we outgained them on offense and played decent defense, just too many mistakes on our part.

A reporter said that Houston's defense was going to cost them another game before conference play is over..so you may be right
